Welcome to West African Technical & Vocational Training Center (WATVTC). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, courses, and services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

WATVTC is operated from Freetown, Sierra Leone, and provides technical and vocational education through our learning management system hosted on MoodleCloud.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features of our Services, you must create an account. When you create an account, you agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information
Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
Keep your password secure and confidential
Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes. You may not:

Share your account credentials with others

Submit false information or impersonate others

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Use automated tools to scrape or collect content
Interfere with or disrupt the Services

4. Course Content & Intellectual Property

All course materials, including but not limited to videos, documents, quizzes, and other educational content, are the property of WATVTC or our content partners. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

Certificates earned through our platform are issued by WATVTC and represent successful completion of the specified course requirements. Certificates may not be falsified, altered, or misrepresented.

5. Payments & Refunds

Some courses may require payment. By purchasing a course, you agree to pay the stated fees. All payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers.

Refund requests may be submitted within 14 days of purchase if you have not accessed more than 20% of the course content. Refunds are processed at our discretion and may take up to 30 days to complete.

Free courses remain accessible as long as they are available on our platform. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue courses at any time.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

The Services will be uninterrupted or error-free
Course content will meet your specific requirements
Completion of courses will result in employment or career advancement
Certificates will be recognized by all employers or institutions

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WATVTC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use our Services.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
